This final meeting was held physically downtown Paris from 9 to 11 of May 2022. Around 100 persons attended, half physically and half via a Visio-conference system.
This final meeting was held physically downtown Paris from 9 to 11 of May 2022. Around 100 persons attended, half physically and half via a Visio-conference system. The first sessions on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning were dedicated to summarize the main achievements of each work packages, from the production of the observation-based GHG fluxes for Europe (WP2-3-4, for fossil CO2, Land CO2, CH4 and N2O) to the synthesis of the GHG fluxes (WP5-6) and their valorization within international programs (WP7). The final (third) Networking meeting between the national inventory agencies and the observation-based community was joined to this General Assembly on Tuesday afternoon, with a feedback from 6 agencies on the usefulness of the synthesis country-specific GHG plots (derived in VERIFY). Finally, Wednesday morning was dedicated to more general science talks and presentations on the future and the legacy of VERIFY project.
The meeting was hold in the Cordeliers space (15 rue de l'école de Médecine, 75005 Paris) downtown Paris as illustrated in the figure below.
