Cooperation activities in international cooperation frameworks have been seriously disrupted during the global pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Despite these challenges, VERIFY and the team in WP7 Task 7.2 have continued to actively engage with high-level policy-makers to disseminate and encourage the exploitation of the results of the project.
Using the digital opportunities provided, VERIFY has been successfully presented at the virtual global events organized by UNFCCC (Research Dialogue, Earth Information Day, June Momentum, Climat Change Dialogues…) and other international key actors (WMO, GCOS…). Since physical meetings resumed with COP26 in Glasgow in November 2021, the VERIFY consortium has been active to engage again directly with users and stakeholders. This report summarizes these activities.
