This document describes a strategy for the joint optimisation of fossil CO2 emissions and natural biogenic CO2 exchange fluxes in a self-consistent system based on three different realisations of such a system: CCFFDAS (ULUND), CTDAS (Wageningen) and FF-ORCHIDAS (LSCE). The document describes the different methodologies applied in the three systems, summarises the results from the three systems developed and applied in this project, and concludes with recommendations for a strategy for the joint optimization.
