This deliverable presents the outcome of the workshop “Knowledge transfer workshop with USA, China, Indonesia”. It highlights the shared interest in a comprehensive GHG system that reconciles bottom-up (BU) and top-down (TD) results and underlines the added value of the synergy between VERIFY and RECCAP2 for the Global Stocktake. The participants will be invited to be part of the organizing committee for an international workshop on the GHG budgets (emissions and sinks) from reconciled BU and TD estimates, which will be organised in autumn 2021.
